Designer. StoryTeller.
Dog lover.

As a graphic designer, each client or project is a new story for me to tell. I love finding the small details - a shift in alignment, the choice of a font, the hierarchy of type - that can change the way that an audience interprets that story.

I graduated in 2010 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (Go Huskers!) with a degree in Theatre Management. It was through theatre that I became interested in graphic design and marketing, working to promote every show. Theater taught me the power of collaboration, something that has stayed with me through my work as a designer.

Maybe it comes from late nights building sets, but I like to jump in and get my hands messy with a project. Initial sketches, photography, printmaking - I’m happiest when I can be involved in every stage of a project. If I don’t know how to do something, even better - it’s an opportunity to learn, whether it be by reading a million tutorials online or taking a class from an expert.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me with my two dogs (a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Indy and a pitbull mix named Quincy) or starting some crazy new home-improvement project, like refinishing all of the trim in our 1920s-era condo.
